Description
Deeper than the brown, closer to espresso. Reads more put together than a black short in the same outfit.
420 GSM cotton, relaxed through the thigh, above the knee. Substantial enough to wear all summer.
The waist is ribbed elastic with a flat drawcord, which is the difference between a short you wear and one you keep pulling up. Elastic alone digs in over a day; a round cord alone works itself loose. Flat cord in a ribbed band holds where you set it.
30 in the wash, low in the dryer. Elastic is the part heat kills first, long before the cotton gives up, and a stretched waistband ends a short faster than any amount of fading.
