Heavy cotton with a relaxed fit and an elastic waist. Side pockets and a back patch pocket.
The length is fixed to sit just above the knee, from 49 cm at S to 55 cm at 2XL. That is the measurement most shorts get wrong in one direction or the other, and it is why a mid grey works here: it is long enough to balance an oversized top and short enough that it does not read as a three-quarter.
Wash at 30, tumble dry low. Grey shows wear before dark colours do, and on a short the first place it shows is where the fabric folds at the hip.
